Limited Edition canvas prints of original work by Emily.

Limited Edition Canvas Prints - 250 in each edition.

Printed onto high quality canvas - these are pre stretched and ready to hang in your home.

The wooden frames add around 6cm to both the length and width of the piece, and really let the piece pop on your wall.

Hand Embellishment of the canvas involves Emily personally painting onto the canvas, adding unique details and flare to the piece. This makes the canvas one of a kind and truly a unique piece. This can also involve adding texture, and brightening areas by hand.

‘I add brushstrokes and thicker paint to give the texture im known for in my pieces. Its a wonderful thing to be able to do as it allows me the opportunity to work on my favourite pieces again. This will then make your artwork truly unique, and 1/1. It gives the feel of an original piece of artwork in a more affordable way.’ - Emily Johnston

Hand embellishment is where i paint back onto the printed canvas, i add brushstrokes and thicker paint. Its a wonderful thing to be able to do as it allows me the opportunity to work on my favourite pieces again. This will then make your artwork truly unique, and 1/1. Emily’s thoughts on Basil - ‘I was inspired by the little rabbit I had seen that had became my other painting ‘Felix’. This little rabbit popped up through the long grass and was shocked to have met eyes with me. He was trimerous, I thought about what the cover of darkness would provide for this little rabbit, how his curiosity wouldn’t leave him so exposed out in the open - allowing him to boast a little more confidence. I often see hares at night around where we live, and they seem to be more sure of themselves at night, more comfortable moving around when not noticed by people - much like myself. And this thought process is how i came to create Basil.’

You can see Emilys artwork on display permanently in Ards Shopping Centre & Millars Restaurant.
