What is Hand Embellishment?

Its a way to elevate your artwork by making it totally unique and one of a kind!

To put it simply its a original piece but without the price point - this is because there are only elements of the artwork that are original.

This is achieved through Emily personally painting onto the canvas, adding unique details and flare to the piece. This makes the canvas one of a kind. This usually involves adding texture, and brightening areas by hand - giving the piece a unique eye-catching flare. Original brushstrokes cannot be replicated, how fantastic to know that no one has a piece quite like yours!

Adding texture with paint gives a whole new depth to the canvas and truely makes it extra special. You can see in the below video the process.

Emily also offers a bespoke background service - love a certain piece but just cant get it to work for you colour wise? Or really want something different? Do the prints need a frame?

No, frames are purely a personal design choice. The prints come pre-stretched across an internal wooden frame, so are ready to hang as soon as they arrive! I personally love how the frame set of & highlights the piece.

No, frames are purely a personal design choice. The prints come pre-stretched across an internal wooden frame, so are ready to hang as soon as they arrive! I personally love how the frame set of & highlights the piece.

How do I hang my artwork?

Easy! I recommend a screw in the wall for security, and then just use the hanging kit provided. Gently screw the ridged hanging kit into the middle of the wooden frame using the screws provided (or if you’ve opted for a framed print, screw into the Black/White frame). Then hang on the wall and straighten.

How long do orders take?

Orders can take up to 4-8 weeks to be ready for collection, postal orders take an extra 2/3 days.

Hand Embellished prints can take longer than 8 weeks based on my availability at the time.

Please note I will not be able to provide order updates before 8 weeks has passed.

If you require the order faster or for a certain date please get in contact and I will try my best to help. Orders can sometimes be rushed when needed - please note that the fastest turn possible is 14 days, however this isn’t always possible.

The last date for Christmas orders guaranteed is 1st December 2025 for prints (15th November for hand embellished prints) - it is still possible to order after this date I just cant promise they will be ready on time.

Prints are in display in Ards Shopping Centre, as well as both ‘Millars’ Restaurants in Belfast and ‘The Hoose’ in Ballyhackamore.

Do I get a certificate with my purchase?

Yes all limited edition prints come with a certificate of authentication.
